Leslie Lucas

Chairman

Having created and established the business over forty years ago, Leslie has a wealth of experience and is an essential part of the overall strategy and future vision of the company. Working closely with senior management and other shareholders, he ensures the business remains secure and continues to grow from strength to strength.

Michael Lucas

Managing Director of Lucas Design

Michael joined Lucas in 2009, initially working in the Land & Development Department. This experience saw him work closely with funding partners and land acquisition teams to bring forward the current development pipeline at Lucas. Michael has also spear headed the establishment of Lucas More, the company's Care development arm, which has brought forward some of the south east's premier Care Homes, in conjunction with Octupus Fund. Michael assumed his role as Managing Director, in 2017.

Matthew Sheehan

Finance Director

Matt joined Lucas in 2018 and is responsible for the group’s finance, HR and IT functions, overseeing day-to-day operations as well as helping the business raise funding for its new and ongoing developments.
Matt has significant development and construction industry experience, having held senior finance positions at Mount Anvil, and, most recently, as Finance Director of Barratt London’s West London division.
He began his career at PwC, spending nearly 10 years with the firm in both audit and advisory roles in Cambridge and London, and is a Chartered Accountant.

Francis Vazguez-Adua

Development Director

Francis joined Lucas in 2018 and is responsible for project delivery. He has over 20 years residential and mixed use development experience, having held senior positions at Candy & Candy & Family Offices.

Eva Bobrovska

Finance Manager

Eva joined Lucas in 2017 and is responsible for the daily running of the finance department, supporting the business through the efficient payment of suppliers and subcontractors and in ensuring compliance with the group’s VAT, CIS and payroll obligations. Eva has a wealth of industry experience, having worked with construction companies for over 10 years.

Denise Markley

PA to Michael Lucas

Denise joined Lucas in 2017, as Personal Assistant to Michael Lucas, helping streamline finance, legal and sales transactions. She also assists with co-ordinating corporate events.
