Lucas Design is run on a day-to-day basis by seasoned professionals who ensure the company performs to its full potential.

Leslie Lucas

Chairman

Leslie started his company in 1978, specialising in extensions and the architectural refurbishment of listed buildings. Over the years, he broadened the activities of the business to include top-quality new builds, and successfully steered it through several recessions, gaining valuable knowledge and experience throughout these difficult times. During the latest recession he was able to acquire sites from receivers and distressed developers. Leslie now oversees the structure and operations of Lucas Design and his in-depth industry experience is invaluable in relation to site purchases and new contract works for the company.

Matthew Lucas

Operations Director

Matthew is responsible for day to day operations of the business including finance, recruitment, future growth opportunities and long term strategy. Matthew has had first-hand involvement with all of Lucas Design’s major purchases and contracts over the last 10 years, proving his ability to negotiate successfully on behalf of the company. He has been instrumental in establishing Lucas Design's land department and recruiting the team in place today.

Edson Gea

Financial Controller

Originally from Brazil, Edson has gained significant UK accounting experience over the last few years. He has a BSc in Accounting and has acquired an MBA since living in the UK, Edson has extensive experience working in the accounting profession and in commerce. He is part-qualified CIMA and intends to qualify in the near future.

Stephanie Williams

Accounts Assistant

Stephanie is the newest member of the Lucas Design team, joining Edson in the accounts department. She is currently studying towards her AAT qualifications and looking to achieve membership in 2016. With a background in Service Charge Accounts she is enjoying continuing her career in the construction industry.
